A Masterpiece of Fear
Layers of Fear is a first-person psychedelic horror game with a heavy focus on story and exploration. Players take control of a painter whose sole purpose is to finish his Magnum Opus. The player must navigate through both a constantly changing Victorian-era mansion and ghastly visions of the painter’s fragile and crumbling psyche. Along the way players will find bits and pieces of information that will allow the player to understand the dark and sad past of the painter.

WASTE OF MONEY!!! I love horror based games and my friend highly reccomend that this one will knock me off my feet! It takes forever to load and when it finally does the story is in black. i can hear but nt see it. Then when the ACTUAL game play DOES come on i take like a step a min because it lags like a bad connection on modern warfare for comparison for the game heads like myself. I really would like the money credited to my account or a way to possibly re download it to see it that will fix the issue. Really disappointed because i REALLY wanted to play this game :-(

Fantastic game
I loved this game. Wish there were a lot more like it. I played it on an early 2015 Macbook Pro and had none of the issues other people had, although it does take a long time to load - I’d estimate 60 to 90 seconds, which seems like eternity in computer time. But it was worth it. Great graphics, atmosphere, grew in intensity and complexity as the game went on, but playable without using a walkthrough. It should not have a two star rating!

Wow! This is a fantastic game! Graphics and speed are perfect for my newly bought mac. Story is fun and suspenseful. I say, Aspyr PLEASE add more dlc packs for more stories. If people do not spend hours on their computers and love creativity, this game should have a daily level or story generator by name, emojis or hobbies. Even better, a CREATE tab in launch screen to make our very own stories with easy plot tools. Awesome! Don't let this game be underrated.
